Motor Carrier Services

SALT has been representing motor carriers since 1966 on a constant basis to date, assisting in precluding and handling issues of all types, with special emphasis on motor fleet vehicular safety, accident avoidance, and compliance with the Federal and State Motor Carrier Safety (FMCSR) and Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) (Code of Federal Regulations Title 49).

SALT can customize personnel, operations, maintenance, compliance and safety organizational document systems for any type of motor carrier or fleet operation. SALT can create such systems as well as educate personnel on how to efficiently use the systems on a day-to-day basis.

SALT educates motor carrier administrators, drivers and support staff and can assist with the creation of company policies, procedures, rules and regulations, and company administrative and driver manuals. SALT also performs public educational activities at universities, national motor carrier conferences, and holds customized seminars for motor carrier administrators and drivers on multiple subjects. SALT can create presentations for motor carrier drivers using SALT's motor carrier accident avoidance courses which are educationally structured for motor carrier personnel and present facts on real accidents and situations.

Regardless of the type or size of motor carrier or fleet operation, SALT can help determine if you should or should not go into the motor carrier business; and if so, how best to structure personnel, operational, maintenance, equipment purchases or lease programs, as well as development of safety and compliance programs.

SALT can help advise on the correct motor carrier equipment and computer programs, and help set up your organization customized to your desired method of doing business which will enable your business to be run at a maximum level of profit, efficiency, and safety.
